Stop the car!! My only regret coming here is that I’ve been coming to Newcastle on business for two years and I only tried this place tonight. I came in with an appetite and hoped for good but got fantastic. Generous portions, serious flavour, lovely staff and really nice atmosphere and music. Just a perfect meal for weary little me. My tummy is so happy tonight. Remember, if you read my reviews, I like spicy and full flavour so be warned. If I like it, it’s kicking! Do not miss the place, make sure you try it next time you’re In NCL
Have had some lovely meals here. They are happy to cater to gluten free. The atmosphere is lovely. I definitely recommend!
An excellent evening out to celebrate a birthday. Menus were waiting on the table when we arrived and we would have been happy to have tried everything !!! The food was excellent and delivered in a timely staggered manner. There was an interesting range of wines and beers; we tried a delicious French sparkling white. We brought a birthday cake and there was no problem getting cutlery and plates to serve each of us.
This was our second visit this year. Both times excellent, interesting & delicious food & drinks and excellent service. The spiced cauliflower entree is delicious, squid is tender, as is the lamb, and the lentil pilaf really tasty. The wine by the glass was good (try the Limestone Coast Vermentino), and the turkish delight is amazing. The turkish delight cocktail is a taste sensation, and the saffron tea is a perfect way to finish. Also a bargain for plenty of food, 4 glasses of wine and a generous cocktail. Thanks Sephardim, see you soon!
